Please Read Carefully Blue Streak Challenge Rules To be considered for one of the sixteen (16) seats aboard the Blue Streak, you must: Send your completed registration form, non-refundable registration fee ($20.00) and your signed waiver to: CLP Preservation Society, 31090 Hartley Road, Salem, Ohio 44460. Please make all checks payable to Conneaut Lake Institute, Inc. Upon receipt of these items, we will send you three (3) pledge sheets, which you should try to fill with generous pledges. Remember, this is an event to raise funds for the Blue Streak. You must have at least $300.00 in pledges to be considered. Copies of your pledge sheets must be mailed to the above address two (2) weeks prior to the Challenge (June 12, 2006). We will accept the sixteen (16) people with the highest pledge amounts. The others may become alternates, if they so choose. ALL pldege money is to be turned in the day of the event, Monday, June 26, 2006. Riders must be 46 inches or taller to ride the Blue Streak. 2. Riders must be in good physical condition. No casts, braces or anything of this nature will be permitted on the coaster. A physical with your family doctor is recommended. 3. All riders must be present and acounted for. Riders must sign in between 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. at the Blue Streak. Parking for riders and their families is permitted on the midway. You will not be permitted to participate if you do not turn in your pledge money at this time, unless previous arrangements have been made. 4. No consumption of alcoholic beverages or drugs of any kind will be permitted. 5. No indecent exposure, foul or indecent language or gestures will be permitted. 6. There will be no horseplay or throwing of any items while aboard the Blue Streak or its station. 7. It is understood that by registering for the Blue Streak Challenge, you are also granting permission for the Park, media and /or other entities (either 'for profit' or 'not for profit') to photograph, film or otherwise electronically record your image for their use free of charge and without restriction. 8. Riders are responsible for their own meals. Conneaut Lake Park will not be open this day and neither will any of the food stands. 9. A pillow or two will be allowed for padding. but nothing more elaborate may be used. Remember, you may have a riding partner. 10. Registrants will be responsible for reading and understanding these rules. Failure to comply with these rules will mean immediate disqualification from this event.
